چکیده

The magnetoresistance of underdoped La22xSrxCuO films with x 0.048 and 0.051 is studied in magnetic fields up to 8.5 T and at temperatures down to 30 mK. The results indicate that the magnetic-field induced superconductor-insulator (SI) transition is qualitatively different from the reentrant transition described for indium oxide and interpreted as leading to a “bosonic insulator” phase. The ground state in the absence of superconductivity appears to be insulating. The transitions become narrower below 1 K and show that the resistive critical field diverges approaching zero temperature, as has also been observed in other high-Tc systems. Field-induced thermal metal-to-insulator transition in underdoped LSCO

The transport of heat and charge in cuprates was measured in undoped and heavily-underdoped single crystal La2−xSrxCuO4+δ (LSCO). In underdoped LSCO, the thermal conductivity is found to decrease with increasing magnetic field in the T → 0 limit, in striking contrast to the increase observed in all superconductors, including cuprates at higher doping. The suppression of superconductivity with m...

Cuprates La2−xSrxCuO4 Studied by Angle-resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy

We have performed a systematic angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) study of the high-Tc cuprates La2−xSrxCuO4, ranging from the underdoped insulator to the superconductor to the overdoped metal. We have revealed a systematic doping evolution of the band dispersions and (underlying) Fermi surfaces, pseudogap and quasi-particle features under the influence of strong electron-electro...

ARPES study on electronic evolution in Ca2 xNaxCuO2Cl2

Electronic evolution from an antiferromagnetic insulator to a high-Tc superconductor is revealed by angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy experiments on tetragonal Ca2 xNaxCuO2Cl2 single crystals, which were grown for the first time under high pressures (6 5.5 GPa). In an underdoped superconductor (x 1⁄4 0:1), we found clear fingerprints of the parent magnetic insulator: a shadow band and a...
